Odeon is a building acoustic simulation software, which is based on geometric acoustics. It adopts the hybrid method of combining virtual sound source method with sound line tracking method and the second sound source to simulate the computer sound field. It has the function of visualization. This software is widely used in design research and engineering fields, and can simulate and calculate room acoustics, hall acoustics and noise control.


Odeon is used for indoor acoustic simulation, that is, the room pulse from the sound source to the receiving point in the 3D model can be predicted. These simulations can be imported from SketchUp or other CAD software. The software can export T30, T20, EDT, SPL and other acoustic parameters. By controlling the indoor reflection, sound absorption and interface scattering properties, music, speech and speaker systems can achieve the desired acoustic or noise reduction effect.

This acoustic prediction software can well deal with indoor acoustics and sound reinforcement systems, so that it can be used in halls, theatres, concert halls, churches, sports fields, open offices, halls, restaurants, recording studios, subway stations, airports, industrial environments and outdoor places with complex geometric shapes.

The hall version provides a comprehensive tool for the auditory simulation of the sound field. By processing the indoor impulse response of the sound channel, we can listen to the anechoic room recording, which provides a better feeling of indoor acoustics than any curve or animation, and is equipped with a large set of anechoic room recording. In addition, the loudspeaker array sound source is introduced, and the power amplifier system as a part of indoor acoustic design makes the acoustic simulation more comprehensive.
